The Oxford Accounting Research Symposium took place on Monday 27 September 2021 at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Our inaugural symposium was dedicated to Professor Colin Mayer CBE FBA, Peter Moores Professor of Management Studies, who retired from Saïd Business School in September 2021. Colin was the first Professor in the Business School, its Academic Director from 1994 to 1999, and then Dean between 2006 and 2011. This event celebrated his legacy and was dedicated to the notion of ‘Accounting for the Purposeful Corporation.'

The next Symposium will take place in September 2022. This event is organised by Anette Mikes, Associate Professor of Accounting. Attendance by invitation only, please contact fame@sbs.ox.ac.uk for further information.
