Networking and events

There is a varied suite of events and activities which we host for alumni here in Oxford, online and across the globe.

These activities include academic-led sessions, as well as plenty of opportunities for you to network with other alumni from your industry and across the University with our Reunion-style events and black-tie dinners.

All our event invitations will come to you via email. You can also check the monthly eNewsletter and the events page for upcoming events.

Special interest groups

Join a Regional Chapter, special interest group and learn about our sector content.

Join your local Chapter to meet and make connections with alumni near you. On completion of your programme, you are welcome to join our regional Chapters. Chapters coordinate activities in their city and host regular social and professional events, making them an excellent resource for networking with other alumni. Interest in OBA Chapters is not limited to the area alumni reside in, so you are able engage with as many different cities globally to expand your network.

We are now also tailoring our content to bring you sector-focussed events and information and have launched the Oxford Saïd Alumnae Leaders group. Read more on our lifelong resources page.

As an alumnus, you can stay updated and connected with the School by opting in to receive our monthly newsletter, Oxford Saïd: The Insider as well as hearing about other news and events. Update your email preferences to ensure you hear from us.

Support for your career development

If you have completed a degree programme at Saïd Business School, you can continue to access careers support from our Career Development team, including career coaching and access to online resources.

They can offer lifelong career support through specially tailored programmes to help you to transition from study through to continued career success.

LinkedIn group

There are several resources available to help you connect with alumni online via LinkedIn.

Exclusive for network members, the LinkedIn group offers alumni and the School a platform to share and exchange news, opportunities, and events with each other.

Membership of the group also opens communication opportunities as members can direct message each other, without the need to be a first-degree connection, or have a premium account.

If you are an alumnus and would like to join the closed member group, please contact us.

We recommend using the LinkedIn group in conjunction with another tool – Find Alumni.

This tool pulls together all members of LinkedIn that have Saïd Business School listed in their education, which includes students and alumni of our degree, diploma, and Executive Education programmes, into a searchable directory. You can use this tool to filter down your searches by specific parameters including geographical location, company, industry, field of work, and more.
