Eni case study

Eni is a long-standing partner to Saïd Business School, whose support has touched many aspects of the School over the years. The energy company has deep roots in Africa, and has made a strong corporate commitment to supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It is working to achieve sustainable growth on the continent and across the world.

In recognition of the School’s pledge to bring African students and leaders to the School, as exemplified by our commitment to having at least 10% of our MBA students from the continent, Eni recently established the Eni-Oxford DPhil Scholarship and the Eni-Oxford Africa Scholarship, which both provide unique opportunities to students from Africa to receive support to complete doctoral work and the MBA programme. These scholarships have been integral in both diversifying our cohorts and ensuring that African business perspectives are shared in the classroom, making the learning experience richer for their fellow students and faculty.

Eni also supports the Oxford University Centre for Corporate Reputation, a cross-disciplinary research centre housed at Saïd Business School. Their engagement includes funding the Eni Research Fellow, who focuses on the regulatory challenges arising from digital innovation and the reputation risks associated with artificial intelligence.

Saïd Business School is proud to partner with Eni to support African students at the School and continue our world-class research centre. We are also honoured to have the Eni Enrico Mattei Lecture Theatre on our Park End Street Campus, which the company gifted to the School and named in honour of their first Chairman.
