Eni-Oxford DPhil Scholarship

Overview

Funded by the international integrated energy company Eni.

Eni has a long tradition of supporting scholarships. The 'Scuola Enrico Mattei' paved the way for postgraduate education in Italy and proved to be a pioneer for managerial studies in Europe. Since 1957 the 'Scuola' has granted scholarships to around 2,600 young graduates from 111 different countries to attend an oil and energy industry 'Master MEDEA' programme, spreading the Mattei legacy throughout the world. Eni’s training and knowledge management is promoted and implemented through Eni Corporate University. To reinforce the company’s expertise in its business areas, Eni works with the most prestigious national and international universities including Oxford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and leading Italian Universities.

Scholarship details

Value

Course fees, a grant for living costs, and one return air fare per year for the duration of the programme.

One scholarship.

Eligibility criteria

All DPhil in Management applicants are eligible. 

 

Selection criteria

  • Awarded on the basis of academic excellence demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE score, previous university prizes and awards, and other academic achievements. 
  • Preference will be given to applicants who are of African nationality and/or have an interest in corporate reputation.
