The Saïd Business School continues its impact initiative through a donation of IT equipment to The Turing Trust.
The supplies will support IT education and development on the sub-Saharan African continent and includes laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, cables, and iPhones. The initiative reinforces our commitment to sustainability by harmonising economic growth with its environmental and social impact strategy.
Mark Bramwell, Oxford Saïd’s Chief Information Officer, commented: ‘We are very pleased to partner with The Turing Trust. As a core principle, we are committed to delivering a sustainable economic future while helping to solve global problems, and view sustainability as pivotal to tackling global systemic challenges.’
Since 2019, the Saïd Business School’s collaboration with The Turing Trust has delivered more than 1,250 items of IT equipment. The donated items will help to create educational opportunities while reducing carbon footprint and CO2 emissions. The partnership with The Turing Trust aligns with The UN Sustainable Development Goals Oxford Saïd is committed to achieving locally and internationally.
