Colin Mayer, Tim Morris, Janet Smart and Andrew Baum formally retire ahead of the new academic year.
October 2021 marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of Saïd Business School.
In the years since we welcomed our first MBA student cohort, we have evolved to become one of the pre-eminent business schools in the world, aspiring to be a model of purposeful leadership.
Many have worked tirelessly to get us to where we are today, not least our Faculty, who have influenced changes in business practice and public policy, and who bring diverse disciplinary backgrounds to our classrooms. It seems only right that the commemorative activities for our 25th year begin with a celebration of four such members of Faculty, who are to retire from the School ahead of the forthcoming academic year.
During their tenure at Oxford Saïd, Colin Mayer, Tim Morris, Janet Smart and Andrew Baum have been key to helping establish the School as a future-facing, world-challenging centre of academic excellence. Their contributions will likely continue to feed into the School’s teaching and research activities for years to come.
