Having worked as an operations manager in tech, Esete is enthusiastic about leveraging the extensive resources available both within the School, and across the University of Oxford, to deepen her expertise in tech ops and people management. She also aims to broaden her horizons by exploring new areas of interest such as finance, AI, and entrepreneurship, equipping her with a multidisciplinary approach to tackling complex challenges, with a holistic perspective.
She said: ‘I am honoured to have received the Oxford Black Leaders Scholarship which has made it possible for me to pursue an MBA degree here. The Oxford MBA programme offers a dynamic and diverse learning environment, where I can gain not only essential knowledge, but also the leadership and strategic skills and the vast network needed to advance my career.
'Additionally, I am eager to serve as the Head of Corporate Engagement for the Oxford Africa Business Alliance, where I can facilitate connections between students and Africa-focused career opportunities. This role will not only contribute to the MBA community, but also align with my passion for supporting the African business landscape. Overall, I believe the Oxford MBA will be transformational in helping me achieve my career goals and make a meaningful impact in the world of business and beyond.’
