Profile

Majken is an Associate Fellow at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and is a tutor and faculty on the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme – one of the leading open leadership development programmes in the world.

Majken works at the Norwegian foundation AFF, which has been running highly acclaimed leadership development programmes since the mid-fifties and is ranked top in the Nordic countries. She is the Program Director of the Headmaster Program, delivered in cooperation with the Norwegian School of Economics. She also programme directs AFF FiftyFifty, a programme that aims to increase gender balance in the C-suite. She designs and runs various programmes for clients in the health sector, finance, travel, fast moving consumer goods and more.

Majken has worked for big international companies such as Deloitte and Hewlett-Packard and also commercialised a high-tech start-up and run her own Management Consulting Boutique with main clients from finance/bank/insurance and oil/gas in the Nordic market.

Majken holds a Doctor of Management in complexity and leadership - focusing on Organisational Change and the Politics of Identity. Professor Nicholas Sarra was her 1st supervisor and Professor Ralph Stacey and Professor Emma Crewe were her 2nd supervisors. Majken is certified executive coach (CTI) and holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering/Telecom.
