Profile

Kate is an experienced 'full learning cycle' consultant and facilitator.

She is a programme director at London Business School and a founder Partner and consultant with the Grange Partnership, which specialises in action learning solutions for blue-chip global businesses. She qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte and Touche, specialising in tax and mergers and acquisitions. She was subsequently Client Director at ATP, managing Touche Ross and teaching management accounting and financial reporting to top-tier accountancy firms and the National Audit Office.

Kate became Client Director at MTP, a learning and development consultancy, focusing on accounting, finance, value creation and strategy. There she developed e-learning-based packages and helped to implement a value creation tool in two blue-chip global FMCG businesses.

As Client Director at Corporate Edge, Kate designed, developed and delivered solutions in finance, accounting, commercial acumen and general business skills. At the Grange Partnership, Kate continues to provide whole learning solutions integrating face-to-face, e-learning and web-based cases and exercises for clients.

As a programme director and associate fellow at London Business School and Henley Business School, Kate designs, develops and teaches programmes (primarily in finance, accounting and leadership) to clients from various sectors.

A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Kate has a BSc Honours Degree in Natural Science from Durham University.

Publications

Kate has contributed to the Springer Guide to Supply Chain Management and to The Economist Guide to Finance. She co-wrote the Value Creation e-learning package and an e-learning Introduction to Finance and Accounting.

Teaching

At Saïd Business School, Kate has taught finance and accounting classes.

At London Business School, she has taught finance and accounting on the Accelerated Development Programme and on custom programmes for senior executives in the energy, media, financial services and manufacturing sectors.

Kate has also taught on the Integrated Strategy and Leadership Programme offered by London Business School in partnership with Melbourne Business School.
