James Hall

In his career spanning over three decades, James has built numerous insurance and technology companies including: Salty Inc, acquired by CDK Global in 2021, Insurance Point, acquired by Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in July 2015, Ebenefits.com, acquired by UPMC 2007.

James is dedicated to lifelong learning. He served as the Executive Director of the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School’s Entrepreneurship Centre and continues to serve as an Associate Fellow of the School. He studied for a Master of Business Administration and a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Business Administration at Westminster College.

James currently serves as a Board of Director for the Connecticut Children’s Hospital, and previously served as CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, where over $750 million was raised for children’s healthcare under his leadership. He has held various roles as a member of YPO and CEO.

He is the Founder and Executive Chair of Embedded Insurance and the Founder and Executive Chair of Oka, The Carbon Insurance Company..
