Profile
Dean started his DPhil in Financial Economics in 2019 under the supervision of Ludovic Phalippou and Mungo Wilson.
He is a member of Exeter college, and is a recipient of the Saïd Business School Foundation Scholarship.
Prior to starting his DPhil program, Dean was a research professional at Economics department at University of California, Berkeley. He also holds an MA in Social Sciences (Economics Track) from the University of Chicago, and BA Economics from Korea University, South Korea.
Research
His research interest spans several topics, including empirical asset pricing, systemic risk measures and private equity.
