- So I wanted to come onto this programme because I think at this point in time, I'm really keen to sort of understand how I can elevate my leadership, become more strategic, and just really think about how do I build like a high performance team around me. - I decided to come onto the programme primarily because I wanted to develop myself as a leader, and I don't think up until now, I've been that great at it. - We had a bunch of sessions with really great content, particularly maybe the one on negotiation, but really all of them. And in addition, talking to the other participants has been just wonderful and I've learned a lot from all of them. - There were people from 21 countries, from all over the continents. They have different challenges, different cultural challenges. - Throughout the programme, it unveiled that we all needed to make sure that we're on the same boat, we have the same problems, we can spot the same opportunities, and share the experiences. - Without a doubt, the best part of the programme has been insights that I've got from the coaching, the individual, the group coaching for sure, followed up then by the leadership narratives, which was something that I didn't expect and was incredible. - I think the most impactful part for me has been the fact that the programme starts quite early with the personality profiling and 360 degree feedback, which means that you can then tie all the rest of the content that comes out in the programme back to what it means for you personally. And really, that connection is what enables you to start having those light bulb moments of, "Oh, this is why I got that feedback," or, "Here's a tool that I can use to sort of deal with this feedback that I've had." - I love the fact that at this programme, you're not just learning theories, but you're also learning strategies and tactics that you can take home. So you're learning things that you can implement as soon as you get back, and I think that's a real great benefit of attending the programme. - I urge everyone to, honestly, whenever they feel like it's getting challenging, life is getting challenging, and work is busy and lonely, to use this as an anchor to save them and like take them to the next step. - The need to get away, the need to turn all the noise off, the need to come here and be with other leaders is crucial to take away as much as you can from it. Between the sharing, and then the real concrete frameworks to take away and the time away, I think it's the perfect mix for some real change. - This is about actually working on yourself and I think that's the most important thing people can bring back to their organisations. - The strength of the programme for me was that it is very transferrable and very adaptable to different industry, different situations. Eventually, we all face more or less the same challenges, right? So I think it was very helpful to get generalistic insights that I'm able to adapt and transfer into my work environment. - I think that the way in which every element is constructed is always about take a moment and reflect on your own kind of your own situation, your own leadership style. - I think you should rename the course to Don't Judge the Book by the Cover. I think that has been my huge takeaway. On Sunday evening, came here and met 43 other people. Over the course of the week, getting to see who those people really are and on the journey they've been on has been an eye opener for us all, myself included. So it's been superb in that sense. - So how this programme was designed and customised to make every single individual, the 44 people who were in that programme, feel like it was catered for them specifically.
