The Entrepreneurship Centre is embedded within Saïd Business School and has been created to encourage the school's community of students and alumni in pursuing their entrepreneurial ambitions. This academic year, the centre will run and support a range of existing and new initiatives that are both curricular and co-curricular including the Entrepreneurship Project which is an integral part of the Oxford MBA and EMBA curriculum. It invites students to develop a full business plan and present it to a panel of invited investors and other practitioners. The Oxford Seed Fund provides startups and entrepreneurs with access to capital, diverse investors, and a supportive community in which to develop and scale. For students, the opportunity to be part of the investment team is a unique experience for those looking to gain exposure and pursue a career in venture capital. The oNetwork, a community of highly experienced entrepreneurs and business leaders who share their expertise with Oxford science students and alumni. Ideas 2 Impact connects post-doctoral researchers and postgraduate students in medical sciences division and MPLS division with Saïd students Oxford Saïd Entrepreneurship Forum (OSEF) is the school's flagship entrepreneurial event. It brings together masters of entrepreneurship to share their experiences for an inspirational day of keynote speeches and panel discussions. And the Liber Project, our newest initiative supporting UK startups, scale-ups, and SMEs with specific challenges by leveraging the exceptional Oxford talent pool of students and alumni as well as faculty and senior business advisors. The Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) Oxford, housed at Oxford Saïd, delivers an acceleration program for massively scalable seed stage science and technology based companies. In the affiliated student program our Oxford students get exposed to the real world of entrepreneurship and get the opportunity to interact with cutting-edge AI and health startups from across the UK and beyond.
