- Impact investing has evolved significantly over the past decade from being a niche market to becoming mainstream. And I think what's exciting is the core components of what we teach, leadership finance, a commitment to community, a commitment to use capital with ethics, compassion and intentionality. Bringing those together. The values and ethics make a difference in how we invest our resources. - We spend a lot of time in our courses teaching and research, answering these questions around what difference is impact investment actually making? Where are all the tools and approaches going and are they fit for purpose? And how can we make better decisions at all levels to increase our impact as a result of all of the capital that is increasingly being deployed in lots of interesting places and regions and sectors. - Understanding how impact investment fits into the systemic change that's currently required to tackle these world wicked problems or grand challenges. - It's gonna change the way I'm approaching my job every day. - There is lots of know-how in the group, lots of different people coming from different countries with different backgrounds, different experiences, so that's very enriching. Of course, the professors are great, but as well the participants are great people to learn from. - It's a lot of intersection, a lot of discussion and that is really what catalyses and fosters learning and that has been amazing strike of this programme. - It's a small enough group to actually be personal and I think that's really what makes Oxford and the Saïd Business School a place to come rather than elsewhere. - It's a week worth of learning, but it's actually years worth of learning compacted into a week.
