- The Saïd Business School is such a great place to come and study. It's well known around the world for its fantastic groundbreaking research and of course, it sits in the wider seat of learning that Oxford offers. And of course, we have access to a fantastic range of academics here at the school, from professors to researchers, across all areas of business. And that means that we can really help the corporate affairs practitioners think about and address the big picture issues that they face today. - The Corporate Affairs Academy, here at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford is unique because it brings together very senior corporate affairs professionals from some of the largest companies all over the world. It's very rare to find the time and the ability to bring together people from very different parts of the world, all into one place, all with a shared objective of understanding this very important role, this corporate affairs director role for major organisations. - The Corporate Affairs Academy is a space where senior leaders can come, take a step back look at the big issues that are affecting the function and also them as leaders whether those are external issues such as activism or populism and internal pressures such as how does the function provide business value on a regular basis. These and other things we cover during the academy. - Often, a lot of the insights that we find come from those moments where they're sharing experiences from what they've been doing in their own world with people in slightly different parts of the world and in different roles. - My time at Oxford's Corporate Affairs Academy has been phenomenal. It has absolutely exceeded my expectations. - I've met some really interesting people and really started to think differently about some of the challenges that we have. - For me, what was the most important is that, you get academic principles on the one hand and then practical applications that you can take from those principles and take back to the your way of work immediately the next day - You get provocations from the speakers from the other participants. They make you think you get powerful frameworks that all in all what you take home is a valuable experience and I think you return home as a better corporate affairs professional. - The time here at Oxford Business School has been revelatory, has been educational, and it's been a really strong networking experience. - The experience has been amazing sharing not only the academic sessions with my colleagues but also enjoying the true Oxonian experience. Going to the Ashmolean taking a nice dinner at one of the most historic colleges in Oxford. - I couldn't have asked for a more interesting mix of companies, cultures. The networking has been phenomenal. Every single course we took was incredibly relevant and helpful. - I really, really benefited from this week here in Oxford. It helped me reflect on the right structure that I need to put in place for myself. - It's really sort of opened my eyes to a slightly different way of thinking about challenges that we do have and challenges that may yet come. - Invest in your own capabilities, and come to this historic landmark of institution that is Oxford University at the Saïd Business School, to take that personal journey. In that way, you can not only learn things about yourself but also about where you want to be in the near future as well.
