Your teens will work in teams to research and develop business ideas. They will then pitch these ideas to the steering committee, which consists of experts and successful alumni entrepreneurs, over a two-day workshop using the design thinking method.

Encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving skills. They will learn to tackle challenges with fresh ideas and develop solutions that can have a real-world impact.

You will experience life at St Anne’s College (or similar), one of the historic colleges of the University of Oxford, founded in 1879. St Anne’s integrates the values of the University with the world of its students: it is relentless in the pursuit of academic excellence, while remaining connected to contemporary society. 

Catering

Throughout the summer programme, you will enjoy three freshly prepared meals each day, with all dietary requirements catered for. Meals will be served at Saïd Business School, St Anne’s College, or other locations in the city. We will ensure you are well-nourished and ready for each day’s activities.

Safety

Oxford is a safe city, and your well-being is our top priority. You will be staying in secure accommodation in the heart of this historic city. A dedicated team of fully trained staff will be on hand to support you throughout your stay, ensuring you feel safe and cared for.

How to apply

To attend the programme, you must be at least 16 years old and no older than 18 years and 11 months on 1 July 2025.

You will need to submit a personal statement and complete an interview. After you submit your personal statement, we will contact you about the interview, which will be with one of our team members. Please be aware that programme spaces are limited and competitive.

To fully benefit from the programme, you should have an English proficiency level of at least B2 (upper-intermediate) on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. If you are unsure of your level, please consult your English teacher.

Personal statement

Please create a compelling personal statement, approximately 500 words long and addressing the following questions thoughtfully, which highlights your enthusiasm and readiness for the Academy.

  • Why are you interested in this specific summer programme?
  • What do you hope to achieve during this experience?
  • What personal qualities or values do you think are important for succeeding in this programme?
  • How do you plan to contribute to the programme community?
  • What perspective do you bring that will enhance the experience for yourself and your peers?

Certification
