Leadership in a new retail landscape

""

The pandemic has radically changed both shopping behaviour and the retailing sector itself: because of sector’s importance both as an economic actor and as an employer, as well as of course because of the close proximity of retailing to citizens and their everyday lives. Impacts have ranged from closure of non-essential businesses to hyper demand and stockpiling behaviours which have significantly challenged the just-in-time supply chains of food retailers. But how should retail leaders address the profound financial, structural, and spatial consequences of adapting to a post-COVID society?

This panel, led by Jonathan Reynolds, will feature Helen Dickinson, OBE, Chief Executive, British Retail Consortium and Alan Treadgold, Independent Advisor & ex-Partner Retail Strategy at PA Consulting
