Dubai's first academic health system has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Saïd Business School to partner in executive education programs and research.
The collaboration is part of the Dubai Academic Health Corporation's (DAHC) five-year strategic plan, focused on developing programmes to attract, develop, and retain valuable healthcare professionals, administrators, clinical educators, and scientists.
Under the agreement, Oxford Saïd will play an essential role in enhancing leadership capabilities and identifying emerging leaders across DAHC. The MoU was signed by Dr Eleanor Murray, Associate Dean for Executive Education and Senior Fellow in Management Practice at Oxford Saïd, and Professor Alawi Alsheikh-Ali, Chief Academic Officer of DAHC and Provost of the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU).
Dr Eleanor Murray highlighted the many opportunities building a relationship with the DAHC could generate for Dubai and the general region. She commented: ‘We have a proud tradition of supporting excellence in leadership development. The opportunity to work collaboratively with DAHC with the ultimate aim to enhance the quality of healthcare delivery to the population of Dubai has generated much excitement - and we look forward to progressing the journey.’
