Proud to be ranked top again in prestigious Guardian league table.
The BA (Hons) in Economics and Management programme, jointly run by Saïd Business School and the Department of Economics, University of Oxford, has once again been ranked first in The Guardian Best UK universities for business and management league table.
The programme, which attracts about 300 students annually, has a perfect 100 score at the head of 118 programmes featured, also taking into account factors including its student to staff ratio, spend per student, and value added.
Dr Pegram Harrison (pictured), Director of Undergraduate Studies at Oxford Saïd, leads the programme with Dr Chris Bowdler, Associate Professor in Economics.
Dr Harrison said: ‘The students, staff, and faculty have worked hard to achieve this consistently excellent result.
Our students are among the very brightest in the University, competing with many more applicants for places, and performing extremely well when they get here.
‘The staff and faculty who support them are among the hardest working and least recognised of our colleagues. Everyone involved deserves this welcome recognition.
‘These rankings, especially a long tenure we have enjoyed at the top, help us to continue attracting the highest calibre applicants from the UK and abroad.’
Oxford’s undergraduate Economics and Management programme regularly features first in UK business and management rankings, and scores highly in global rankings – placing fourth in the 2021 QS World University Rankings for Management.
Oyindasola Bello, second-year Student Rep for the programme and holder of the TargetJobs Female Undergraduate of the Year, said ‘The learning facilities and staff here at Oxford are what makes Economics and Management the degree that it is, and it is a privilege to be on such a challenging, yet exciting and diverse course.’
